  • Jennifer Aniston’s Photo Dump Features Goddesses Laxmi And Durga. Internet “Loves The Energy”

Jennifer Aniston’s weekend photo dump has stirred a flurry of reactions online – not just for the celebrity-studded lineup, but for a detail that caught many Indian fans by surprise.

On Sunday, the FRIENDS star took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos from her sunlit weekend hangout. While the post featured familiar faces like Selena Gomez, Courteney Cox, Alessandro Nivola, Andrea Bendewald, Chris McMillan, Molly McNearney and Amanda Anka, it was a picture of a bouquet of red roses placed on a black table that got the internet talking.

Eagle-eyed users quickly spotted two Hindu deities – Lakshmi and Durga – among the decorative pieces arranged on the table. The idols, placed near a pot of vibrant roses and surrounded by miniature statues including a laughing Buddha, have sparked widespread curiosity and admiration from fans, especially in India.

“Did anyone notice Goddess Lakshmi and Durga on Jennifer Aniston’s table? Love the energy,” wrote one user. Another commented, “From ‘Friends’ to divine vibes – Jennifer really has a spiritual shelf!”

The presence of the idols, traditionally seen as symbols of prosperity (Lakshmi) and strength (Durga), left many intrigued. The caption read, “Sunday Funday photo dump day.”

  • Why Paresh Rawal Quit Hera Pheri: No Script, Flaky Details, And A Whole Lot Of Friction

The iconic Hera Pheri franchise has run into yet another controversy – this time involving the unexpected exit of actor Paresh Rawal, who portrayed the fan-favourite character Baburao. The situation has since escalated into a legal dispute, raising questions about creative control, contractual clarity, and an increasingly fragile relationship between Rawal and co-star Akshay Kumar.

No Script, No Clarity – Just A Poster Shoot?

Sources close to the development say Rawal’s discomfort stemmed from the absence of a bound script or a clear narration of his character’s arc. Despite being part of a promotional shoot that was widely circulated as the trio’s grand return – Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Rawal – the actor had not received details about his role or its length in the film.

While the announcement suggested full-scale production was imminent, insiders claim Hera Pheri 3 had no locked screenplay at the time, which raised red flags for Rawal.

Legal Dispute: Breach of Trust or Lack of Contract?

Akshay Kumar’s production banner, Cape of Good Films, served a legal notice to Rawal, claiming damages of Rs 25 crore. They argue that Rawal accepted a Rs 11 lakh signing amount, committed to the film, and later withdrew, disrupting timelines and planning.

However, Rawal’s legal team maintains there was no signed agreement, no narration, and no finalised script. According to them, the actor returned the signing amount with 15% interest well before any legal communication from Cape of Good Films. They’ve called the suit “unfounded” and suggested Rawal had every right to exit a project that was not formally binding.

Franchise Rights Tussle: Another Layer Of Conflict

What complicates matters further is the dispute over who holds the rights to the Hera Pheri brand. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala, who launched the original film in 2000, is believed to have reclaimed the intellectual property rights. His team had allegedly warned Akshay Kumar and others against publicly promoting any new instalment without legal clearance.

This ongoing battle over IP rights may have contributed to Rawal’s hesitation, especially if the project was being developed in a murky legal environment.

Past Friction? The OMG 2 Factor

Though not directly linked, some believe the signs of a rift between Rawal and Kumar began surfacing earlier. In OMG 2 – a sequel to the 2012 film OMG: Oh My God! that starred both actors – Rawal was noticeably absent. Akshay Kumar featured in a supporting but central role as a divine messenger and co-produced the film. Rawal, who led the original, was not part of the sequel, possibly reflecting a deeper creative divergence.

Creative Reservations: ‘Don’t Want to Repeat the Same Mistakes’

In previous interviews, Rawal had expressed dissatisfaction with how Phir Hera Pheri (2006) shifted away from the grounded humour of the original. Sources say he was cautious about history repeating itself – a big reason he demanded a proper script and clarity before giving a green light to Hera Pheri 3.

Without those assurances, and with multiple producers claiming control of the franchise, Rawal opted to step away.

    Industry Reacts: A Missing Piece

Suniel Shetty, who plays Shyam in the franchise, publicly expressed shock over Rawal’s exit. Director Priyadarshan also hinted that the chemistry between the trio cannot be replicated. With one of the key characters now gone, the future of Hera Pheri 3 hangs in the balance.

  • Bipasha Basu Recalls Being Called “Crazy” For Starring In Jism Alongside Ex-Boyfriend John Abraham: “You Can’t Do Adult Film”

Bipasha Basu took a career risk by starring in the film Jism.

The film’s bold theme challenged traditional perceptions of Hindi heroines.

Bipasha credits Jism for changing roles for women in Indian cinema.

Bipasha Basu was only three years into her acting career, with successful films like Raaz and Ajnabee, when she decided to take on Mahesh Bhatt’s Jism.

The actress revealed that the film’s erotic theme and bold title were considered risky at the time, and many believed it could harm her rising career. However, she added that she was drawn to the story and chose to move forward with the project.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Bipasha spoke about breaking away from the image of the conventional Hindi film heroine by signing Jism. “Jism was the time when I was at the peak, and everyone told me, ‘You cannot do an adult content film. You are like the typical Hindi heroine who is now established in people’s hearts.’ And I said, I just like the story so much. I said I’ll go ahead and do it. Everybody stopped me from doing it. My manager thought I had gone crazy,” she said.

Bipasha added that the film shifted perceptions about the roles women could play in Hindi cinema, especially when it came to grey or negative characters. She also noted its impact on beauty and fashion trends. “But it worked for me and then things changed. Women suddenly were tonging their hair. They wore a bronze look. There was no stereotypical (thinking) that the woman can’t play the negative character. It all changed after that. So it’s been path-breaking for me. That has been one very important film,” she said.

Producer Pooja Bhatt, in an earlier conversation on Tinder Swipe Ride, shared her own experience while shooting Jism. She recalled constantly checking on Bipasha Basu’s comfort levels during intimate scenes but admitted that she didn’t initially extend the same courtesy to John Abraham, who was making his debut with the film.

“I went to actually explain to them what was required, and I’m telling Bipasha that this is what we have to do, but if you are not comfortable… and John just looked at me and said, ‘Excuse me? Does somebody mind asking me whether I am comfortable doing this?’ For me, that was like somebody threw a bucket of cold water on me. I said, how presumptuous of us women to think that it’s only the woman who is awkward in an intimate situation. The poor guy,” she said.

Salman on Tuesday morning shared a video of his younger brother, actor-producer Sohail Khan smoking and fighting off men around him in a dimly lit well. The short reel appears to be a rough cut of a project.

“Ab cigarette khatam, ab sirf doston ko khatam kharna baaqi hai,” declares a menacing Sohail, just before he starts hitting his ‘friends’ black and blue.

“Wake up… Cigarette smoking is injurious to health and so are farzi friends… it’s all about family #RaviVarma #Actiondirector @sohailkhanofficial,” he wrote in the caption.

Ravi Varma, who has worked with Salman on his 2014 film “Jai Ho”, has choreographed the stunts in the video.

It is, however, unclear whether the video clip is part of a brand endorsement, film or web series.

An admirer praised Salman for the message.
